Parqués

Two players. Four pieces. A race to home.

How to play

  • Two humans play directly against each other, controlling four pieces each. The first player is chosen randomly.
  • Roll doubles to release jailed pieces and roll again. You get three attempts when all unfinished pieces are jailed.
  • Choose a piece for each die. Doubles earn another roll; three consecutive doubles let you finish an active piece.
  • Captures are compulsory outside the starred safe squares. There are no blockades or capture bonuses.
  • Get all four pieces home with exact rolls to win. See the table rules for this version’s details.

Challenge Setup: Parqués

Defaults to Player A. You can change it before creating the challenge.

Two humans · four pieces each · red versus blue

Race all four pieces to home. A random player starts. Roll doubles to release every jailed piece, then roll again. With all unfinished pieces jailed, you get three attempts; otherwise one. Use each die on one piece, or both on the same piece in two moves. Doubles earn another roll; three consecutive doubles let you finish one active piece of your choice and roll again. Land on an opponent outside a starred safe square to send one piece to jail. Captures are compulsory when available (the table enforces this instead of manual soplar). Releasing pieces captures opponents on your exit, even though it is safe. Pieces may share squares; there are no blockades or capture bonuses. The board has 68 shared squares, 16 marked safe squares and seven private home squares per player. Home needs an exact roll; unusable dice are discarded. Local variants differ.
